Alternative Song longevity broken by 'Broken'
The Los Angeles based indie pop band 'Lovelytheband' breaks the Alternative Song longevity record on the Billboard Chart.
The record of remaing on the Alternative Songs chart for the longest time was by Rise Aginst's "Savior" spanning from July 2009 to September 2010 , a whole 65 weeks , but now finally "Broken" claims the spot with 66 weeks and still counting.
"Savior" peaked at No.3 during the whole span of its run , but "Broken" claimed the No.1 spot for a whole 9 weeks.
Guess records are made to break only.
