Dynamic Monday (Mar 4) : Featuring Green Day

Dynamic Monday brings you the very best of Green Day this week , just so you can scratch your week with a happy mood.

Billie Joe's band formed back in 1986 is still the top marker when the word 'Rock' appears in a conversation. Billie , the vocalist and guitarist , and Mike Dirnt , the bassist , were only 14 when they formed the group. Along the way they added TrĂ© Cool , the drummer.

Mike Dirnt's real name is Michael Ryan Pritchard and it was replaced by 'Dirnt' when his friends in school started calling him with the cool tag as he played the 'Air Bass' and made 'dirnt dirnt dirnt' noise pretending to pluck the strings.

The band is well known for tracks like 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreans' , 'American Idiot' , '21 Guns' and many more. Infact people used to be crazy about the whole albums and not just one song. They were like the savior of rock who brought the genre to the twenty-first century.

Today's feature is from their ninth studio album ¡Uno! which was released on September 21 , 2012 by Reprise Records. It was the first album to feature the guitarist Jason White after his departure in the 2000s.
