Female Friday (Mar 8) : Featuring Rachel Platten
In the ocassion of International Women's Day , Female Friday brings you the strong female idol , Rachel Platten.
"This is my fight song". The lady is a true goddess for fans out there. She released her two individual albums in 2003 and 2011 which were not really recognised by the music community.
Then , after signing to Columbia Records in 2015 , Rachel released her debut single 'Fight Song' which peaked No. 6 in the Hot 100 and literally helped out the females a lot with depression and anxiety problems.
The song was also featured in her third but first album under a label 'Wildfire' , which gained quite some attention and hence she became an actual idol for fans.
Well , today is the International Women's Day , and i just wanted to recall a legend who helped us out with her voice. And coincidentally , its Female Friday too. So basically , the best position to feature this song.
