Jaded Tuesday (Mar 5) : Featuring The Chordettes

Jaded Tuesday takes you back at the 1950s this week with The Chordettes.

Taking back to the twentieth century , The Chordettes were the most famous American musical quartet , usually singing a cappella and specialized in traditional popular music. The seventeen years of their presence (1946-1963) were really amazing for the American music industry.

They are very well known for their angel voices and their superhit songs "Mr.Sandman" and "Lollipop".

"Mr.Sandman" was also a part of the Deadpool 2016 movie and gained extra bonus fans from there. The song was originally written in 1954 by Pat Ballard and was first recorded in May by Vaughn Monroe & his Orchestra and then later by The Chordettes and The Four Aces in the same year.

Here is : The Chordettes - Mr. Sandman

Have a slothful Tuesday.

XOXO , Vox
